The Project: Seminole
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa and Hollywood, FL
The Process: In
2004, two Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino properties
opened in Florida, the first in Tampa and the second
in Hollywood. For
both, The James Trogolo Company of Illinois was hired
to design and provide the new properties' holiday décor.
An existing client of MDM Display &
Design Services, Inc., Trogolo enlisted our Holiday
Décor Installation department to install, strike,
maintain, and store the décor for both locations.
As these properties are open 24 hours
a day, 365 days a year, MDM worked with the executive
team at each to create an installation schedule that
was not intrusive to guests, staff, or previously scheduled
on-property events. MDM's accommodation of the casinos'
request to install only in off-peak hours allowed the
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino
properties to operate normally while numerous themed
topiary reindeer, Christmas trees, garlands, wreaths,
and 500lb oversized prop ornaments were
installed.
MDM's customer-driven service standard
provided for successful completion of both projects
while also meeting the clients' operational needs.
