The Process: Pleased
with the outcome of their guitar stanchions, Seminole
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino-Tampa next requested a
design for a custom Motorcycle Display Stage that would
elevate the bikes off the ground while fitting
within the space constraints of the exhibit area. MDM
designed a two step, 3' by 9' riser with step heights
of 1' and 2'. The steps are individual pieces that can
be used independently to display
a single motorcycle or together in a tiered design that
allows full visibility of two to three bikes. Since
the recently created guitar stanchions
would be used in conjunction with the new stage, burnished
aluminum was again selected as
the material for the design and customized with
a wave finish. To add additional flare, the bottom tier
also received a custom cut flame-shaped
diamond plate overlay.
